Welcome To The High Commission for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The High Commission for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Jamaica was established in 1963. It is the only overseas Mission of the Republic in a CARICOM country and as such performs a critical role in the execution of regional foreign policy.
kgnhcttDr. Iva Camille Gloudon is currently the Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner to Jamaica with accreditation to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Previously, she has worked for over thirty years in the field of Sport & Physical Education. For the past nineteen years she was the Director of Sport & Physical Education at the University of the West Indies – St. Augustine, Trinidad Campus. Dr. Gloudon was an accomplished field hockey athlete and represented Trinidad & Tobago internationally for over ten years. She was the 1979 Trinidad & Tobago Women’s Hockey Player of the Year and Trinidad & Tobago Sportswoman of the Year nominee and in 1992 became the first and only woman to win the Trinidad & Tobago Sports Administrator of the Year award. She is also a past president of the Trinidad & Tobago Hockey Association and The Trinidad & Tobago Women’s Football Federation. [ Read More ]
